Brandon

Hi, my name is Brandon. I am 14 years old in 8th grade. I have three years of FLL as driver, builder, and presentation. Now I am starting my first year at FTC as builder and believe FTC will grow my STEM skills for my future career as an engineer.

Caleb

Caleb

Hello, my name is Caleb. This is my second year on the Junior Bomb Squad. I'm in the 9th grade. I'm interested in building and someday going into architectural design. My gaol is to learn more about designing. Last year I was a part of the programming team and build team. This year I found that I would like to be operaor and head build team member. Last year I found that programming wasn't very interesting to me so I plan to focus on build team

Chandler

Chandler

Hello, my name is Chandler and I am in the 9th grade. I joined the Junior Bomb Squad to learn about engineering because it is something I am really interested in. My cousin joined the team last year and it sounded like a lot of fun. I hope to pursue a career in engineering and that the Junior Bomb Squad will help me with my future career.

Jackson

Jackson

Hi, my name is Jackson and I am in 9th grade. This is my first year on Junior Bomb Squad. I got involved in Junior Bomb Squad because I was in FLL and really liked it. Another reason I got involved in Junior Bomb Squad is because last year someone on Junior Bomb Squad told me how much fun she was having and all the new skills she had acquired. I hope to incorporate the skills I am learning in Junior Bomb Squad into my future career.

Jake

Jake

Hi, I am Jacob. I first heard of the Junior Bomb Squad team in 8th grade but I was unable to join. This year as a 9th grader I joined the team to expand my knowledge in computer programming and engineering. I hope I can get better at programming and learn the ways of RobotC. I also hpoe to learn the ropes in engineering to have a backup plan if programming fails.

Rowan

Rowan

Why hello there! My name is Rowan and I am in the nineth grade. This is my second year on the Junior Bomb Squad. Last year we made it to world championship with me as one of the head programmers. This year I hope to be a driver for the team, as well as a programmer. I hope to pursue my career in computer engineering and I know this team will do the job. My dream job is to be a NASA scientist and with what I learned last year and what I hope to learn this year, my ever increasing knowledge will help me meet that goal.

Savannah

Savannah

Hi, my name is Savannah and I am 14 years old. This is my first year on the FTC Junior Bomb Squad Robotics Team. I wanted to join Junior Robotics so I could learn how to use the skills I have in a more proficient way. I also wanted to learn about the skills I never knew I had and put them to the test. FTC is an amazing program and I enjoy putting all my core classes into one program.

Mentors:

Andy Marts

Mr. Marts

I became interested in electronics and engineering in the 6th grade. I have a degree in electrical engineering and have worked for Baxter Healthcare for 31 years. I mentor FIRST teams to show students math, science, and yes, even English are used in all facets of technological careers. Hopefully I can affect a student's outlook on school and provide the vision of a pathway to be successful in a technological career.

Courtney

Courtney

Hi, my name is Courtney. I am a mentor for team 92 this year. I am in 12th grade and  on the FRC Bomb Squad at the High School.  I joined robotics because it seemed fun, and I was not disappointed. After two years in Junior Bomb Squad, I decided that being an engineer was what I wanted to do with my life. I felt that robotics would help me to achieve my goals, and so far, it has.
